What an amazing day in our hometown of Stillwater! Chelsea and Alex planned the perfect fall day for a wedding at the Lowell Inn. The couple got ready and did their first look at the hotel, then we found some great spots downtown for photos, including the historic lift bridge. Aly & Kevin Wedding Photography: October 11th, 2019

Aly & Kevin were the cat’s meow for their wedding day! Not only did their cat play the part of the ring bearer, but they even tried to have her wear her own flower tiara (though she wasn’t haven’t any part of it.)

Aly & Kevin really enjoy hiking and being outside, which was a big reason why they selected Silverwood Park. And despite the weather not wanting to cooperate with them, they still were troopers in having all their photos and ceremony outside. They were so prepared for cold weather, they had blankets for everyone at the ceremony! For a parting gift for guests, Aly & Kevin had small plants for everyone to take home.

Ashleigh & Jacob Wedding Photography: October 19th, 2019

Ashleigh & Jacob were such a joy to be around on their wedding day. We all met up at Clifford E French Park for their first look. Then we strolled around the park’s grounds getting some amazing fall shots of the wedding couple and family. We found a great rock that all the guys insisted on getting their “boy band” shot.

Then we were off to the ceremony and reception, being held at Golden Valley Country Club. During the cocktail hour, we had an amazing sunset that we had to get Ashleigh & Jacob out to enjoy.

Juan & Francis Wedding Photography: September 14th, 2019

It was clear from the start of the day that Juan and Francis’ faith is an important aspect of their relationship. With the ceremony taking place at the Cathedral of St. Paul, the first thing Juan said he wanted to do was capture photos in front of all the statues of religious figures in the church. There was so much joy in both of their faces when they finally got to see each other down the aisle!

After the ceremony, we whisked them away to North Oaks Golf Club for the reception and photos. We jumped on some golf carts and drove around the course, finding an awesome walking path by the lake. Juan & Francis were so much fun to work with, playing around with all the different poses we were throwing at them!

Vale & Amber Wedding Photography: November 1st, 2019

Vale and Amber wanted a small and intimate wedding day, and it also happened to be a destination wedding. Their day kicked off at an AirBnB overlooking Fish Lake, just north of the Twin Cities. Both parties got ready at the residence, and we started their photo session with a first look overlooking the lake. The property had some great forest trees, with the ground loaded with the fall leaves and just a hint of winter making an appearance throughout with a very light snowfall.

The ceremony took place at Fish Lake Chapel, where Amber and her dad did a celebratory shot of tequila moments before the ceremony. Amber’s uncle served as the officiant, with just over a hundred friends and family in attendance. After the ceremony, things shifted just down the street for the reception at Fish Lake Resort. There Vale had to marvel at his favorite piece in the hand-crafted sweets bar, the towering donut wall.

Christina & David Wedding Photography: August 30th, 2019

David was so much fun to work with — it’s not too often to come across a groom who loves the camera! Just before the first look he admitted he used to be a model. And while he was a natural, it was hard to compare to his beautiful bride. Their backdrop of the river was breathtaking for their ceremony at Leopold’s Mississippi Gardens.

The Greater Stillwater Chamber 2019 Holiday Mixer

So much holiday cheer at the Lake Elmo Inn Event Center for the Greater Stillwater Chamber 2019 Holiday Mixer! Members enjoyed a great food spread and music by Vinnie Rose while they networked. Santa even made it to visit with the children (and adults).

Monroe Film and Photo provided our photo booth for the evening, along with with taking family photos with Santa.

Brianna & Caleb Wedding Photography: June 21st, 2019

Brianna & Caleb were such a cute couple! The nerves and tears during the ceremony at The Grands at Mulligans were priceless. They were such a happy and joyful couple, and their family had lots of fun during the speeches. Brianna’s dad even brought out an “owners manual” for his daughter, which he was happy to hand over to Caleb.

Photo booth cruises the St. Croix for the Chamber Mixer

The Greater Stillwater Area Chamber of Commerce and the New Richmond Area Chamber of Commerce set sail on the Majestic Star of the St. Croix Boat & Packet Company for their annual “Celebration on the St. Croix” Chamber mixer. We put our photo booth on the top deck to enjoy the sun and get some great views on the river.

Tishayla & Matt Wedding Photography: May 26th, 2019

Tishayla & Matt were high school sweethearts that had a beautiful wedding at Trellis Outdoor Wedding Ceremonies. They had a lot of special moments throughout, including their friend officiating the ceremony, their dog walking down the aisle as the official ring bearer, and a wine pouring. The reception brought guests to downtown Minneapolis to the Profile Event Center, where adding to the uniqueness of the day, family and friends were treated to a pizza buffet.
