We love helping out with surprises. When planning the wedding day Carissa said she wanted to do a prank first look. With the help of some friends, an inflatable T-rex approached an unsuspecting Peter. The shock on his face was priceless.

The Greater Stillwater Chamber 2019 Holiday Mixer
So much holiday cheer at the Lake Elmo Inn Event Center for the Greater Stillwater Chamber 2019 Holiday Mixer! Members enjoyed a great food spread and music by Vinnie Rose while they networked. Santa even made it to visit with the children (and adults).
Monroe Film and Photo provided our photo booth for the evening, along with with taking family photos with Santa.
Nick & Lyn Feature Film: August 24th, 2019
It was an honor to capture the wedding day of Nick & Lyn. For them, there was an extra importance to capturing the memories as Lyn’s family was unable to attend. Being from the Philippines, it was next to impossible to get passports for the entire family. Lyn’s own journey meant several attempts to fly stateside and missing several wedding dates. Though Lyn’s family was not able to attend, they certainly had their presence felt throughout the entire day.

Jason & Andrea Cinematic Trailer: August 10th, 2019
Jason has a huge personality, and it showed throughout the wedding day: His shouts of “Boom” when walking in with Andrea during the grand march, the constant ribbing with his friends, and his losing battle of fighting back tears of joy when reading a letter from Andrea before the ceremony. But the best moments were when he was eagerly awaiting to see Andrea for the first time walking down the aisle, from checking to make sure he was in place, reminding everyone to tell him to turn around at the correct time, to the tears that flowed when he saw Andrea for the first time on the wedding day.

Family is an important foundation to a marriage. Moments before the ceremony, Katie’s dad pulled everyone together from their family for a moment of prayer. With Katie in the middle, her family surrounded her to offer their love and support. It was an amazing moment to capture before their ceremony.

Samantha & Andrew’s wedding reception was at a brand-new venue in St. Paul, Earl & Wilson. We opted to forgo our traditional sequin backdrop for the photo booth, instead highlighting the beauty of Earl & Wilson.

Mel & Matt Cinematic Trailer: August 10th, 2019
We love it when grooms wear their hearts on their sleeves. As Matt waited for the first look at The River Golf Course in International Falls, he could barely fight back the excitement of seeing his bride. When he turned and saw Mel, tears just flowed.
And we have never met a ham for the camera like Mel’s daughter! Every time a lens was pointing at her, she was all smiles and poses.
Paige & Josh Cinematic Trailer: July 27th, 2019
It is always a huge honor when a family asks us to film multiple weddings. We had so much fun with the oldest Nelson sister, Megan, a few years ago, and we were excited to catch up with the family and see how they have grown. Younger sister Paige is the creative type, and had some unique ideas that we had never seen before, including her son walking down the aisle with Pizza the calf.
The Maidenwood Lodge was the perfect backdrop for Paige & Josh, providing a rustic backdrop with amazing views of Wisconsin. And as the sun set in the distance, we were whisked away to capture the most stunning valley we have seen in Wisconsin.
Brianna & Caleb Wedding Photography: June 21st, 2019
Brianna & Caleb were such a cute couple! The nerves and tears during the ceremony at The Grands at Mulligans were priceless. They were such a happy and joyful couple, and their family had lots of fun during the speeches. Brianna’s dad even brought out an “owners manual” for his daughter, which he was happy to hand over to Caleb.
Photo booth cruises the St. Croix for the Chamber Mixer
The Greater Stillwater Area Chamber of Commerce and the New Richmond Area Chamber of Commerce set sail on the Majestic Star of the St. Croix Boat & Packet Company for their annual “Celebration on the St. Croix” Chamber mixer. We put our photo booth on the top deck to enjoy the sun and get some great views on the river.
Photo booth rocks the boat on the Hope House Cruize for a Cauze
Hope House is a 245D licensed adult foster care facility based in Stillwater, MN. The first Monday of every August it hosts The Scott Zahren Memorial Cruise - Cruize for a Cauze. The night is filled with music, dinner, laughter and love as attendees cruise down the St. Croix in a river boat.
Monroe Film and Photo was proud to be part of the event as a sponsor, as well as providing our photo booth for attendees to make memories throughout the night.
Rae & Shane Cinematic Wedding Trailer: July 27th, 2019
Rae & Shane immediately intrigued us by their contact form. For their favorite movie, they put “The Fast and Furious” series. When we chatted, they agreed that the series was not a cinematic masterpiece by any means, but was a fun and silly way to be entertained.
They had a beautiful wedding day at 7 Vines Vineyard in Dellwood, Minnesota. It was a perfect fit for the small, elegant reception they had with close friends and family. And, of course, being at a vineyard, they incorporated the wine into the ceremony under the pergola. We felt honored to produce their wedding video!
StoryArk Festival hits the red carpet with the Photo Booth
StoryArk is an amazing nonprofit that empowers students to tell their story through sketch comedy, podcast, poetry and film. Their work culminates to a yearly production entitled The StoryArk Festival at the Phipps Theatre in Hudson, WI. Our photo booth was used on the red carpet for attendees arriving.
Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce has some Photo Booth fun at The Chamber Open
We were thrilled to be a sponsor for the yearly Chamber Open Golf Tournament with the Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce. This years event was held at the Oak Glen Golf Course and it was a perfect day for golf! Afterwords, the participants were treated to dinner and had some fun in our photo booth.
Tishayla & Matt Wedding Photography: May 26th, 2019
Tishayla & Matt were high school sweethearts that had a beautiful wedding at Trellis Outdoor Wedding Ceremonies. They had a lot of special moments throughout, including their friend officiating the ceremony, their dog walking down the aisle as the official ring bearer, and a wine pouring. The reception brought guests to downtown Minneapolis to the Profile Event Center, where adding to the uniqueness of the day, family and friends were treated to a pizza buffet.

The Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce welcomes Monroe Film & Photo
On March 5th, 2019, The Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce welcomed Monroe Film & Photo to the chamber with a ribbon-cutting event at the Zephyr Theatre. The chamber is a non-profit organization that promotes business in the local community and encourages involvement and growth. Monroe Film & Photo became an official photography/videography ambassador in July, beginning with coverage of the 7th Annual Chamber Golf Tournament.
We are excited to be part of The Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce and look forward to serving the St. Croix Valley community!
